WHO’S VOICE AM I HEARING?

• Eva Allen, voiceover marvel, has experience in commercial, animation, video game, and promo.

• As the granddaughter of legendary voice actor Allen Swift - otherwise known as Popeye the Sailor Man, Simon Bar-Sinister, Mighty Mouse, Twinkie the Kid, and the Burger King himself - Eva learned to do voices at an absurdly early age.

• Voice and on-screen actor Eva Allen has an infinite love of stories and even more voices with which to tell them.

WHERE DID SHE STUDY THIS SILLINESS?

• Eva is a classically trained actor who worked with Melissa Lozoff, studying the approaches of Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Sanford Meisner, Uta Hagen, and Stanislavski.

• Eva also focused on film and screenwriting at Durham School of the Arts and Bennington College.

• Eva has studied voiceover with Arianna Ratner, who wrote and directed Eva’s commercial and animation demos.

• Eva has also taken voiceover lessons from Craig Lee Thomas, Bob Bergen, Elle Newlands, Maile Flanagan, Amanda Troop, Katie Zeiner, Michael Orenstein, Harry Dunn, Chris Tergliafera, and Tania Possick.

HOW DOES SHE DO IT?

• Eva approaches roles by developing a character, connecting with the artwork, understanding the director’s vision, and allowing the voice to emerge. The rest is magic!

WHAT ELSE?

• In addition to acting and voiceover, Eva loves traveling, making art, working with children, and spending time with her animals.

• She enjoys working with fused and blown glass, watercolors, pastels, acrylic, and makeup.

• Eva also enjoys dancing, aerial fabrics, swimming, and playing piano.

• Some of the magical countries Eva has visited include Spain, France, Israel, Mexico, Canada, and the Bahamas.

• However, Eva’s favorite place in the United States is Ocracoke Island on North Carolina’s Outer Banks.
